Bonjour,Dans le post de GEX EUROPE."This is probably a good time to post a few announcementsIn case you have not noticed from the images in the last 2 pages of this thread, GEX EU is not taking the same direction with autogen GEX USCAN did. We will be applying 10x more autogen in GEX EU than was applied with USCAN.Before you hit the ceiling, please read...We are using a formula applied to the autogen slider and our layout selection(s) based on information supplied by Phil Taylor about FSX and autogen. The approach should allow you to continue to see the same amount of autogen you currently do with GEX USCAN and in many cases, more.. but with EU the autogen selected and the layout approach is designed to represent a balanced increase/reduction by percentage of each slider tick based on system bandwidth in use.The approach works, and it works very well.Huge hubs, large amounts of AI/car traffic and 4096 clouds excluded, those running very top end systems should be able to run 100% autogen with all the shopping centers, gas stations, churches, shops and stores showing in all their glory. And do note, top end systems are not DDR2 800 @ Q6600 3.6Ghz on a 8800GTA reduction of the slider does not mean those who run 3/4 or 1/2 will not get to see shopping centers, gas stations, churches, shops and stores as they will show just not in as great of number or frequency, however, as you can see in the images above even those who can not run any autogen at all will get a heck of a show. You will still get the same amount of autogen you are use to seeing in the USA product with the same performance however a higher slider tick will represent a larger amount of autogen shown as compared to USA/Canada. In that, you may need to drop your AG slider with the EU product as compared to USCAN to get the same amount of autogen showing on the screen and an equal performance result. This approach assures GEX will grow with the user and as hardware is replaced/upgraded/improved so will the users visual emersion experience out the window.FS11 is 2 years out and many will not switch to FS11 right away for the same reasons many are still running FS2004 today, and, hardware able to run FSX flat out will come to market over time and GEX will be right there to lift the experience to a higher level so the user gets more of a show with their future upgrade. We are coming up on our first 'full' alpha build soon and not long after that we will be entering the beta phase. Not long from now I will post an official announcement about a coupon for everyone who purchased GEX USCAN which can be applied to the purchase of GEX EU. I will post the details about that soon however the coupon offer will only be good to those who have already purchased USCAN, and, those who purchase the USA Canada product BEFORE GEX Europe is released. On the day GEXn EU hits the servers the coupon offer is withdrawn so if you have plans to buy EU and do not have the US/CAN product as of yet, if you purchase USA/Canada before EU is released you will be eligible for a coupon toward the purchase of EU.The amount of that coupon will be $5.00 (five) dollars and the cost of GEX EU is increasing due to the massive amount of workload and change from the previous release and the licensing fees for image data. We have not as of yet decided on the final cost of GEX Eu however it will not be 50+ dollars as has been rumored around the net so please do not speculate on the cost or ask... we will post that information as soon as we have decided on the price. We are also discussing the possibility of offering SceneryTech EU in a combo deal with GEX EU at a higher but reduced price for both since the default landclass is so poorly made however that is not decided as of yet. If we make that offer it will be an 'optional' purchase and not required in order to purchase GEX EU alone.I will post full details about all of this in a sticky thread in this forum when we are ready to officially announce plans."Michel.

:( sf260.jpg
