Help With Tile Proxy

Recommended Posts

Guest b747man

Hello AllJust downloaded tileproxy but am having some problems getting it to run correctly. From the screens I can see I know this will be a great program to use.So installed tile proxy into fsx and put the other two folders into a folder on the desktop I downloaded the .INI file and placed it in the root tile proxy folder I also edited the .INI file so that it would download from the yahoo maps server but when i loaded Fsx the ground was black . I could see the airport runway and tarmac but everything else was black I tried reloading tile proxy and fsx but with no luck. Also when I load a free flight in fsx it doesn't seem to take all that long to load it seems to be loading faster than the guide says it should. Any tips on what is going on. I will post my .INI file. ## Start a line with # to comment it out.# Turn your text editor's Word Wrapping OFF for editing this document.## Read the manual for help with configuration. The "figurethisoutyourself" parts in the module_config lines needs to be figured out....Consider consulting Ed Truthan's web site. It's the first hit on Google searching for Tileproxy.

Maybe I'm blind but i didn't see anything of that nature on the quick guide. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.Also a little more info when I start tile proxy it loads and says its ready for takeoff and then i open Fsx and it starts loading but in the tile proxy window it keeps saying failed to resolve host retrying and it keeps doing that over and over. Here is my new .INI file## Start a line with # to comment it out.# Turn your text editor's Word Wrapping OFF for editing this document.## Read the manual for help with configuration.
