Making A/c Carrier Ready

Recommended Posts

Hi all,What do I have to do to make an aircraft capable of launch & recovery on the AI carriers? I tried adding lines to the cfg file I found elsewhere in this forum, but it didn't work. Any help is much appreciated.

What plane are you trying to make carrier cappable. I've added lines to several aircraft, including the team fs kbt f 18 like in the attached picture. Good luck

The KBT F-18 is one of many aircraft I would like to make carrier ready. I would also like to use the Iris F-4 and the Alphasim T-28.

In addition to the added aircraft.cfg file entries such as this for the T-45C Goshawk:
[TailHook] tailhook_length=7.0 tailhook_position=-16.206, 0.0, 1.031 cable_force_adjust=1.0[launch_assistance]launch_bar_pivot=12.6, 0, -0.2 launch_bar_lug=12.6, 0, -5.2

You must also define the keystrokes to be used for the hook and launch bar toggle and the catapult enableand launch function....4 different key sequences, 3 for the launch and 1 for recovery. Paul
