Thanks! I think so far I'll do just the day ones, the nightmaps give a lot of work, but I shall make it after.

Great work any chance these will be for FS9 also any chance you might want to go an off site Chicago city location and do the UAL WHQ out in Elk Grove Village :)

Fabulous stuff. Would you care to share some tips on how you accomplished this?Again, beautiful work.

ahuimanu, you mean some tips of how I modeled them? If it's that, the program is gmax, the textures are taken from some photos and Google Earth 3D's buildings. I'm thinking in releasing for FS9 but for FSX I'm not quite sure yet...I'll see Thanks for the comment :(Here's a general view:Prespective_view.jpgThere are some buildings yet to be putted, but I think it's nice so far.

Here's a preview of Chicago Title Trust (Bank?) Building:Chicago_Title_Trust_building.jpgIt's a funny story. In Dec '08, I tried to make this one but it was very hard to me and I gave up making it...yesterday I tried to do it again and I did it! I got very happy! :(

I look for the height of the building and then, with help of photos and Google Earth's 3D model, I try to assume (guess) what is the each-building's part height and so, when ready, if something doesn't seem very good, I just adjust here and there and it's done!Buildings like "box" take about 30 mins, but others as 900 North Michigan took me 9 hours of modeling, the average is about 1-2 hours. The NBC Tower took me 4 hours, if I had time enough of working (8 hours per day), surely Chicago would be more complete! I've seen Aerosoft plans to make Chicago in 3D, I think, maybe I can give a little help :(

Ahhh.... I see. Keep up the good work. I did not know Aerosft was doing Chicago. All I saw is IND in development.
