Virtual Weather Station Question

Recommended Posts

What happens in FSX when you reach an area that's not covered by a weather station if you don't use the virtual weather station option? Does the weather just become clear weather at that point until you reach the next coverage area? Does ASX tell FSX to just render what's currently being rendered in the previous coverage area? Just trying to decide whether to have this option enabled or disabled and not sure exactly how it works.

Hi Joe,A blending of weather is used. With virtual stations On, transitions are smoother and it helps with winds shifts a bit. Thanks,
