Hi allI tried to search for an answer with no luck so I'll just ask.After downloading weather, if i want it to not change, would i set the rate of change to 0 or 100Thanks for any helpJerry

Hi there,Dynamic rate of change allows FSX to do some of its own dynamics between updates, so that should be zero. If you want to prevent all changes to weather after downloading, just use offline mode in ASX, by unchecking "Automatic Downloads". In this mode your last downloaded/loaded weather will be kept stale and changed only when you ask it to be.Best,

Follow on question:Have any users ever reported that their FSX "Weather Changes Over Time" slider changes by itself, or resets to "Medium" at seemingly random occasions?Are there any things that are known to you guys to cause this behavior? It seems like I keep having to move my slider back to "no change"/full left. Maybe I am doing it, in my sleep.

Na, you aren't going crazy because of that! It's a setting that doesn't get saved in FSX. FYI, AS over-rides that slider anyway, so you don't need to change it at all.Thanks,

Ah ok, so if I move it around, it won't affect anything other than give my finger exercise. Thanks for the info
