Can Someone Explain Why Ram Is Low

HiPlease have a look at attchment. I have 4GB installed on vista 64 bit, why is physical memory says 51 % but free ram says 14MB only? why this difference?krishan

The amount under Cached (looks like around 2 GB in your picture) isn't counted as "allocated" memory as the OS will drop cached pages to free up memory when needed for other purposes (Vista does a lot more "smart caching" than XP did, and attempts to make your memory work for you as much as possible :-> ).Tim
