Hello, this is for users currently using and for the dev's. I am wanting to know at about how much Virtual Memory ASA is using? Right now, AS6.5 hovers around 38,500K of VM. I am nitpicky due to OOM's. Thanks.

That's fine. Not a big deal actually. I'm EXTREMELY reluctant to switch to Vista64, since it will open a new can of worms anyway.

Hi,73K real memory, read from Task Manager.
He means 73Mb, not K, this is when ASA is open on screen, showing the map, and all the other graphical things. Minimized or in system tray it runs about 45MB avg, but I have seen it as low as 20MB and as high as 50MB.Best,

Physical memory is not so important nowadays. VM creates the main problem and there is no money that would buy a remedy for that, except for installation of Vista64 (the idea that I hates very much, to be honest)

Damian or Jim, was that Virtual or Physical. I am looking for Virtual. Thanks.

Yes, sometimes it's more than 150MB.While it sounds OK for default planes and old-fashioned goodies such as Level-D, i'm quite pessimistic about the VM usage with PMDG products. I'll do some more tests during the Holidays and reports back.Other than that - the product looks great at first glance.
