Asa Ctd Due To As6.5 Issue

Recommended Posts

Guest AkeldamaUK

Hi Folks,Thanks for another great release. I'm having some problem getting the software running though.I'm a previous AS and ASX customer. I have bought the ASA ASX upgrade. However when trying to fire up ASA on my laptop (which has ASX installed) the program runs, downloads wheather etc. But in the progress text it stops working when it gets to a line about not being able to find the path related to backwards compatibility to AS6.5.Am I going to have to install AS6.5 to get ASA to run?RegardsH

Mine was failing because during parsing it was looking for the ASv6 path, which I uninstalled a while ago.I removed the ASv6 registry entry and the error went away. This is strange because it was an ASX upgrade! Now to fly!
