Ariane only sells the aircraft. You have to provide everything else. A DreamFleet merge is the best thing you can do, Ariane also offers instructions on how to do it correctly. I must say together both products make for an excellent package. You should go for it...

>How is the visual model? This is the highlight of the Ariane package. Ariane's 737 series are by far the best 733 and 734 models availible for FS2k2. They include wing views and all of the other gMAX goodies that we've come to know and love.>Sounds?Ariane's 737's don't come with custom sounds (they just use the default Microsoft 737-400 sounds). But since you own the DF734, this won't be a problem, as you can just use those sounds.>FDE?Bad. ;-) Well, maybe that's too harsh, but it doesn't "feel" as good as the DF734 FDE. (And no, I've never flown a 737, so I can say how accurate either FDE is, I'm simpyl stating which one I like better. :-) )Merging the DF734 panel/sounds/FDE to Ariane's visual model makes for one of the best FS2k2 packages around. To merge these two products, there are many free programs availible at here at AVSIM, over a Flightsim.com and at Ariane's website to do this. I've been using this combination (though, I use a custom merge) for the past couple of months and have loved it.Hope this helps. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)ASRC (Advanced Simulated Radar Client) Beta Testerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 42.86 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click Here to Download my American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!

Visual ModelAriane 737 is the most accurate 737-300 and -400 around. after tonight even 737-700 BBJ.Soundit has no sounds, which is a pitty, however if you own DF734, you can use them.FDE'sOriginally bad. However i uploaded a FDE to Ariane's freeware section. They are called "Merge 2.1b" It contains improved air file and aircraft.cfg. optimized for DF734 and other panels.read inside aircraft.cfg how to change light switches for use with other panels as it is configured for DF by default. There are also other FDE's on avsim.comPanelAriane owns a TCASII panel which comes bundled in some 737 liveries. If you like Analog panels with no FMC this is a good choice. If you need to purchase either Ariane's panel or the DF73 you need to decide as based on the price there is not much diffrencewhatever people is tempted to say about Ariane, the Product is excellent ;)and don't forget to look at my freeware liveries available at avsim comsearch for "Martin Muehlemann" :D

Ariane does sell panels; two different models in fact. Both are analog (no FMC; remember what VOR's and NDB's are?) and one includes their fancy TCASII system integrated into a digital VSI gauge. The panel is nice and very functional. Pretty much all the switches work and the overhead is completely amazing. This is really more of an old-time panel (it's designed specifically for the -300 series but can be installed to any a/c so I also use it with a -200), since many airlines today have fitted the older 737's with FMC's and that stuff but having this panel makes it more fun by letting you do more flying. I don't have the a/c; just the panel, but it works really well so I give it a thumbs up. Easily as good as DF734 panel, just a different era.Marchttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

The site of Ariane is currently closed for some unknown season, so you will have to wait what the future of Ariane will bring. I agree with all other people, the Ariane is far the best available (till today) 737. The TCAS panel is very good, and as far as I do know the only one able to give aural warnings when am intruder like AI planes are comming close to you. Too bad the site is down at the moment, but I hope it will be up and running soon.T.

Hello,Allow me to give you my point of view. I agree that the Ariane is a very good visual and flight model. I was hoping for better quality, regarding the panel. The DreamFleet is of better quality if you ask me. The thing I don't like is the web site's confusing method of downloading and the lack of decent documentation for the panel, there isn't any to be found. There is one documentation, but it is in Word format so who knows what version you have to have to read it. Why it wasn't done in PDF format is beyond me. Personally, I'd wait for the PMDG 737NG that's coming out.Sincerely,Hans
