Trouble with King Air fuel gauge

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,I encountered some strange behaviour of the fuel gauge when flying the the beech king air. It seems to indicate wrong fuel quantities all the time, sometimes even fuel quantities below zero! Is there any fix or patch out for that? Thanks,Jan

No fix that I'm aware of. Mine has done it from day one and perhaps FS2000 did too; I don't remember. R-

You wanted realism, you got it. Aircraft fuel guages are not accurate, and in the real world we don't use them. All fuel calculations are done in preflight and the clock is the best fuel guage.

The problem with the King Air fuel gauge is not realism, but rather a bug that has existed since fs2000. Not even real fuel gauges will do things such as make complete revolutions before your very eyes like the king air guage does...
