TAXIWAY SIGNS - Does this look right?

Recommended Posts

I fail to see the problem.....Perhaps a close up shot of the problem would help.

Just inside the perimter of the landing lights range is shown the blank back (black) of a sign.I have noticed this on some signs. If both sides of the sign had the same info where different taxiways are in close proximity, you might get confused if the taxiway was in front or in back of the sign.Usually, I believe signs are placed to be viewed from the approach direction and where appropriate on both sides of the taxiway. In this case, where there is not an adjacent path one side would be not marked. If it were, then the info would be different.

Taxiway signs will (almost) always be on the left side and on the near side of any intersection. You are seeing the back of the sign, which is blank from this side, but that indicates the intersection you are approaching from the opposite direction.Mike BehnkeTaxiwaysigns.com

Thanks for clearing that up for me Mike as I thought I may be experiencing vid card or texture problems.CheersLozza
