Graphics Card Decisions

Hello all you Flight Sim geniuses... I am thinking about getting a new laptop in the future for Flight Sim, and i thought of the Alienware M-17x...... it has 1gb of DDR3 ATI Radeon HD3850's...... how good will my framerates be if i enable CrossFireX...... please list stats for Low settings, Medium Settings, and High settings.....THANK!

I would get a GTX260 or 280 if you can spend the extra cashThe 3850 sucks sorry

im trying to find a laptop under 20 \00 that has a good graphics card in it. I saw the M-17x Alienware for like 1849 with the dual 3850's. and i saw the Gateway P-7801u with 1gb of 9800gts and i saw the HP HDX with 512mb of 9600m GT.......I dont know..... what do u all have?

I personally wouldn't recommend playing FSX on a laptop unless its a very high end one.If absolutely have to get a laptop, get one with a geforce 9xxx series card in it the higher number the better

hows the 9800M GTS on the Gateway P-7801u, check it out on Newegg.com its like 1599.......... or the HP HDX t16 with 512mb of 9600mgt, i still dont know

FSX doesnt support SLI or crosfire so id doubt you will see any improvemnet, from waht i have read some people actually get worse performance when activated.
