Us Regional Airports

Hi Guys and Gals!,I'm getting a bit bored of flying out of major airports across the world and was wondering if any of you have some cool regional airports in the US I could try. (If they have add on scenery even better!)Looking mainly for US airports as I have the stuff for the piddly UK! (I am English before the rants start!)CheersJonster

I guess you could call New York's LaGuardia (KLGA) a regional as it serves smaller airlines compared to KJFK. in the New York tri-airport area. Flights from there to Boston (KBOS) are common and you'll find scenery for both in the FS9 library here. Add Baltimore-Washington (KBWI) and Philadelphia (KPHL) and you can plan short to medium hauls around the dense NorthEast and East corridors of the US. KBWI (version 2) and KPHL are either here or in the flightsim.com libraries.For actual schedules, routes (as filed), and bundled charts at no cost, go to flightaware.com, enter the ICAO code and choose airport activity or airport information. With the latter click terminal procedures and then download the chart bundle offered in .pdf format printing what you need.From payware http://www.flytampa.org/order.html downloads I have their Chicago Midway KMDW. (They provided the freeware KBOS above.) Hi Jonster,my recommendation for you: KHOU by Shez Ansari (filename hou2008.zip in the library)He has also made a few other smaller airports such as KTYS, KBUR, KONT (they're in the library, too).I must say I really like them :(

Shez did the KLGA I use. There I believe is a separate AFCAD made for his that uses the star technique to allow the perpendicular runways to be both active. First check the afcad that comes with the scenery.If weather limits allow, one runway is used for take-offs and the other for landing.
