Unwanted Failures

Recommended Posts

Guest Jason

I have been trying to get my PMDG 737-700 airborne for the last few days and had an engine failure at V1 on every occasion. I have searched this forum for an answer, followed a couple of related suggestions but to no avail. I have removed all failures in the PMDG menu and the FS(9) menu, and still continue to get failures. Am I missing something obvious, I never had this problem on a previous pc. Yours very frustratedly,Jason Carling.I just want to get into the sky!

Are you using TOGA, and is it annunciated in the PFD?Calibrate your game controller and increase the null zone. Make sure that the boxes that prevent the controller axis from overriding the A/P are checked. If both above factors are okay, you should be able to increase to 70%N1, press TOGA and A/T will control the engines regardless of game controller throttle axis movement. On a different track, does the failure menu option for engine failure remain clear (no failure) or are you having to clear it every time? What OS are you using (XP or Vista)?
