December 31, 200817 yr I've set up a multiple download of historical weather (30 Dec 08, 8 hours from 00:00-08:00). Attached is a log of what ASA did in downloading. Only a single file is created (2008-12-30_00Z.Wx), is this correct? And, I don't really understand what the times in the ASA logfile mean (e.g. "Downloading global weather data for 12/30/2008 12:00:00 AM (07Z)").Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. December 31, 200817 yr Author Update: set up the next trance (09:00-17:00) and one new file (2008-12-30_09Z.Wx) is created (ASA logfile is attached again). I start to think that this is not normal since the last time I've downloaded a whole day (27 Dec 08) I had three .wx files with _00z, _01z and _02z, now I get _00z and _09z...Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. January 1, 200917 yr Hi,The first set of downloads started at 5:30:43 and ended at 6:04:48.The second set of downloads, downloaded the 0Z to 11Z files. Thanks,
January 1, 200917 yr Author The problem is that all the multiple downloads have created only two files (2008-12-30_09Z.Wx and 2008-12-30_00Z.Wx).I'd expect that for every downloaded hour, a separate file needs to be created, so I'd end up with several files, not just two for >8 hrs downloaded. You can easily see in the log file that each time a download takes place, the same filename is used to store the data. Can't imagine this is "as designed"...Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales.
