Lago Falcon Update

Recommended Posts

Guest ront1

Hey guys, all of you with the Lago FS Falcon F16, there is an update availible at their web site. Here is thew read me with the update.Bug fixes:- Clock has been updated, When you load the panel the clock will be off, press the button bottom left three times to set the clock to the correct GMT time, remember it is a wind up clock! - Most tooltips updated.- Heading information in Refueling module corrected.- The flaps system is totally overhauled and replaced ith a more advanced system. We are still not 100% satisfied with the max manouvre setting and will continu to find even better parameters. If you like, you can also use manual flaps now (see Customer Requested Changes). These settings are now fully automated: front aft condition-2 20 take-off, during ground roll, aircraft on ground accelerating15 20 take-off, just after lift off, pitch up, <245 knots-2 -2 high speed cruise, speed >245 knots25 20 max manouvre, >2G, bankangle >45 degrees, >10 degree AOA, <450 knots15 20 approach, decending, <245 knots-2 20 landing, at wheel spin upCustomer Requested Enhancements:- Speedbrake now shows black stripes when set and dots when not set (who invented that?)- Fuel gauge has off-white arrows (looks better)- Panel switcher now has a bigger red triangle in the 'not showing' mode.- HUD in right MFD bigger.Customer Requested Changes:- HSI digits made bigger (remember it is slightly bigger in the two Aux views then it is in the MFD panel)- HSI click zones made bigger (now easy to set the CRS and HDG)- Standard GPS added to panel (can only be called up with the "Views|Instrument panel|GPS" command- Flaps sound reduced in volume- Flaps system now has a manual mode (not realistic), activated this mode by setting LE FLAPS switch to LOCK and the ALT FLAPS to EXTEND. With the switches in this setting you can use the standard FS2002 keys to extend and retract flaps.Improvements:- Several switches (anti ice, parking brakes, landing lights) slightly updated- The external model has been updated (mostly in flaps area and in overall smoothness, yes that was still possible)Open issues:- The buggy radar that causes problems on some systems. We have to wait for Eric Marciano to fix that and he promised he would look at this as soon as possible. Expect that to be fixed just after the weekend- There could be an issue with the AP, we are still investigating that one.I have not tried it yet.Ron

If this is the patch that came out a few days ago I would seriously reccommend against getting this update, this one caused MANY problems for some people. It caused MANY issues and those issues are to be resolved in the next update. I'd reccommend agaisnt getting this 1.01 patch...Just a heads up :)

Geez, I haven't noted any problems with the 1.01 version either. Maybe I'll trip over to Lago's forum and see what I've been missing!
