January 2, 200917 yr I've been using ASA since release without any connection issues and today it refuses to update wx in fsx.However, everything is working normally in FS9.I've attached asa log and simconnect log. Looks like simconnect is the issue. January 3, 200917 yr Hi,OK, ASA is not recognizing your SP2 Simconnect.Try running the ASA SimConnect SP1 Only icon from the Start menu.Thanks,

(I had other needs to go to Vista)Interesting point, that the failure for ASA to connect to FSX was after I had used the REX weather engine.
