Fix Info Page MD11 fsx

I am trying to find out how to enter a fix in the fms. After I have typed in the name of the fix postion I try to enter a bearing and distance but always get the message "format error"?Can anyone help or explain the format in which the bearing and distance need to be entered,Thanks for your help.Barrie

You can only enter a bearing not a distance, which will give you a straight line from the fix. You cannot make circles like you can in the 744 (sadly)Jay V

If you are talking about creating a place bearing distance fix on the MLF VOR 288 radial and 30nm for example the format is MLF/288/30
