Choppy head movements in FS9

Recommended Posts

Guest Werd

Hi!Sorry for my english :( I have both FS9 and FSX on my computer. The problem is the joystick axes in FS9 arent smooth enough. Let me explain. Even though I have a Saitek Aviator stick I still prefer to use an old Logitech Dual Action Gamepad (it looks like this http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/3637/lo...ongamepid0.gif). I assigned the head movements to the right "stick", it's not as good as Trackir but still very usefull. (totally awesome in my opinion to be honest! :D)So in FSX head movements are perfectly smooth, it's a real pleasure to look arround. In FS9 it's "choppy". Is there a way to "smoothen" or filter them so the joystick behavior is like in FSX?Thanks!

maybe the problem is with ur fs9 program...because hardwares usually work the same for any softwares....so try reducing ur fs9 scenery details....and frame rates

You'll find a Pan Rate variable in the FS9.cfg file. You might try different values in that variable to see if you get a smoother look. Of course make a backup of FS9.cfg before you start. R-
