Overland or Commercial Level Airbus?

Recommended Posts

Looking for some feedback on the Airbus family. Overland and CLS make some pretty nice models? Which designer do you prefer?

Well I guess my vote would be CLS. No input on the Overland model for me,But I do know Overland repaints can work work CLS A300 models.

i'd prefer overland...the panels are more complete and realistic...especially for the airbus a340 and a380

I'd rather go for CLS for the A330/A340 package. Panels are indeed more realistic than overland. You have TCAS system, a limited functions FMC, Overhead Panel with less dummies, Systems display like hydraulics, APU, AIR/PACKS, Electrical... From the exterior, CLS carries some extra beauty over Overland. Flight dunamics are close to reality for the CLS (wings bouncing because of turbulence...). The A340-500/A340-600 package basically has the same features as the A330/A340 above. The A300/A310 is less advanced than the previous airbuses but it remains one of the best in the market. However, the CLS A340-500/A340-600 and A300 share the same EXTERIOR MODELS as Overland. Which means you can use Overland textures with CLS and vice versa. something unusual in flight simulation market!

I would go for CLS, I got the 500/600 package a while ago, I really liked it, good model with nice animations and sound.

How do you merge the CLS A330/ 340-500/600 with the wilco panel? Does it work for the A340-300?

One way to do this is to move windows from one panel to the other. I use FSPANEL STUDIO and it is by far the easiest way to add, edit or create panels and windows for any air craft. I have done this for several air craft. An example if there is a GPS gauge you like than you just simply delete the old one and insert the new one and with this program it is easy to make sure it fits like it should. FSPANEL STUDIO is by far the best money I ever spent. It works for both FS2004 and FSX. :(
