737NG OMI Marker Beacons

Recommended Posts

I don't want to go off topic here Bill but if you are flying in and out of an airport that has marker beacons in RL but not in FS you can add them with the Afcad program.
No, I think he wants to be able to hear them, the on and off button for the sound.

Thanks guys. I believe the OMI marker beacons can be added to airports. I am using UK 2000 scenery and will ask there if their scenery is the cause of my little problem.Bill

Bill - there aren't many marker beacons left in the UK these days so it could well be that the (real world) airport in question doesn't have them anymore, in which case the scenery would be correct. You can check the current CAA airfield charts to see if they still exist at: http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php.html

Yes Chris, the original poster mentioned earlier that he was able to hear them at another airport after a new scenery install, that's why I thought maybe the beacons were simply missing. This got me curious, :( doesn't anyone remember how the radio panel was in the early NG :(
