I am not sure exactly what fdsfx.bmp is and what you are wanting to do. Assuming you are wanting to view the file - which is a graphic - you can try right clicking on it and selecting Preview.It you get an error message saying that "drawing failed", then it is a type of bmp file known as an extended bitmap and you will need to use a program such as DXTBMP to view it.DXTBMP can be downloaded here:http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/Click on the DXTBMP icon at the bottom of the page which will display for information and the option to download it.Hope this helps. :(

Hi thanks for your reply. The fdsfx is a cabin and crew annoucement panel dll. I have installed it but can't get it to open when i click on the icon in the aircraft. this is the only problem ive got, not to say the lease of the problem i also got having nightmere with the fsuipc3 not showing on the tab/menu bar in fs9. I have done everything and the fsuipc dll doesn't show at all! Hope you might be of good help! :(

I dnt no if it has to do with fsuipc.dll, because am trying to install it and thats not showing as well, what a nightmere! I have followed the instruction installing the fsuipc because i downloaded fschatter and it won't show up just saying waiting on flightsim (FS9) I hope you will be of great help, coz am pulling my hair out!!! Looks like lgvpilot1 found the culprit. FDSFX has nothing to do with FSUIPC so I suspect that is a different issue you are having

I Think i remember reading about this before , and the solution was something along the lines of right clicking on the particular sound icon and setting the path to the sound folder in question .But then again that could be for a completly differernt add on :(Maybe of some help or no help at all!!!Mark

Saw that after the fact, Mark. Don't know how I missed it -- I've been doing that a lot lately. Then again, the forums have been acting screwy all weekend, too. :(
