FS9 MD11 and No Internet at home

Recommended Posts

Hi ChapsI am from Greenland where Internet speed is very slow and very expensive until an Optical FibeCable is finished this year.I therefor use Internet from my place of work.My Question is:Is it Possible - like at Flight1 software, to download a special validating File - bring this File to my Home and run it on my PC. It read my PC then creates a new File thatI reurn to Flight1. When I then download the Product it will only work on that Home PC.Sorry for my bad English - but I hope its understandible. :( RegardsHenrik KorningGreenland

Henrik,The option you mention is not available. You can download the installer file from your internet connection at work and then bring this file to your home PC.However when you run the installer an internet connection is required for validation. This is required only once when you initially install the product and it does not download any large files, it only connects with the PMDG server to validate the installation, so a slow connection will be no problem. If you have no internet connection at all at home, installation will not work. You can also contact PMDG support for further information (maybe they know something more than me)

Take your computer to work and connect to the Internet there at least just to validate the software. :(
