PMDG 747 Overspeed!

My pmdg 747 for fs2004 keeps on going into overspeed when I activate my autopilot. It gets the speed like up to 540! The last flight I flew it didnt do this but now it keeps doing this every flight I try to fly. I dont know if I keep missing a step or what.Plz help. [will work for food]Tevin

Tevin:You didn't provide much info to go on. 540 Kts indicated is pretty fast, that for sure.A common problem in either FS9/FSX is the wx engine causing wind shifts. These wind shifts will cause unrealistic indicated airspeeds (I've personally experience 1.30M!!). The only fix that works for me is a registered copy of FSUIPC and using it for smoothing wind velocity/direction changes as well as pressure/temp changes that MSFS will throw at you. Perhaps this is the cause for you problem.

Make sure you haven't accidentally clicked the check box that says true/indicated airspeed in the FS Realism menu.Rob
