Hi guys,I have been looking for a good DC-9 with a virtual cockpit for a while now and to still no luck. If anyone knows of one out there could you please give me a link payware or free I don't care as long as it has at least a decent VC and maybe a northwest skin?

Well, I don't know about the DC-9 specifically, but the MD-80 series was originally called DC-9-80 series, and there are two pretty good MD80's in the Flight1/CoolSky and the LeonardoSH "Maddog" versions.. The MD 80 was simply a lengthened DC-9-50 with a higher MTOW and a bigger wing and a different "Manufactured by" name. There's not a huge amount of difference inside or out, mostly the overall length and the performance, otherwise you'd swear you're in a 9. Both Super80 and Maddog offer virtual cockpits and high degrees of realism, with both offering blue or pink paneling and lots of liveries. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=uas80pro and http://www.flythemaddog.com/ :(

Yeah i have been thinking of buying the Coolsky Flight1 MD-80 for a while now; however even if I do purchase the plane it won't do me much good. :( Certain routes with my VA must be flown by certain planes so I guess I will just stick to my wilco ERJ for now. Of course my VA officers a DC-9 but of course ... it has no VC only a 2d panel and I rarely even use that thing. :(

Unfornately the only Dc9 I have ever seen with a vc is the Iron Knuckles which is only for fs9 I have no idea if it will work in fsx as I don't have this model. I have not seen any other Dc-9 with vc payware or freeware, hopefully someone out there makes a new Dc-9 for fsx and fs9.
