Having a similar issue. When I install FSX Deluxe, it installs however the icon on the desktop doesn't work and in the add/remove programs, it shows PRODUCT_NAME instead of FSX. When I try to install Acceleration, it says it can't find FSX. I'm running XP SP2. Any help guys?

Bill there was a fix posted for this I think on the fsinsiders page. NickN may well remember the post I'm talking about. Aaah found it!: http://www.fsinsider.com/tips/Pages/FSXSP2...ageonSetup.aspx. It requires a registry edit but seems to work.Hope that helpsPeterH
