Help with settings fro TCAS PMDG and FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

After a recent format I have run into a large problem.I get TCAS2V7.dll CTD errors (dll is reported by FS9.exe as causing the error) on short final while flying the PMDG birds (737 or 747).Now what I want to ask is some of your settings here for people using the following......FSUIPC (latest version fully registered)TCAS2V7.dll (1.1.6.0)AI Smooth 1.20Up to date versions of the PMDG 737 and 747I'm wondering what you have from TCAS setting in the PMDG menus? Should I read it from FS2004 internal or FSUIPC TCAS? As well what are your AI smooth settings?Somehting else I have noticed is a large amount of AI shwoing on my ND up to 40 miles out and many are -99 below me.Suggestions welcome.

TCAS2v7.ini:[Filtering]Range=100Altitude=100Speed=30[smoothing]Enabled=1MaxCoast=20Alpha=0.4FSUIPC (3.85) .ini relavent statements:TCASid=FlightTCASrange=0TrafficScanPerFrame=10PMDG folder 737gauges.ini relavent:[ND]ClipMap=1ArptRwyLimit=0TCAS_NumMaxAcft=200TCAS_ShowOtherTFC=1TCAS_ShowRangeRings=1Insure that the PMDG installation did not override your version of FSUIPC currently released as 3.85 with incremental betas available via their forum:http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=54Also, have you posted on the PMDG forum here on AVSIM?

THKS for the post Ron.I know it is the way I had it configured as I had this problem in the past (and it took me three flights from KPDX to KLAX to figure it out :( ).But that was over a year or so ago and I needed some help with the way others had it setup. My Dll versions are all up to date.I'll give it a go again :(
