I can't download anything!?

For several months I haven't been able download anything from the file library. I can login and search for things and see all of the results and pictures but when I click "Download" I go to the download page that says "Join the Largest Flight Simulation Community Online Find help, hints, friends and more!"and is supposed to bring up the download. The page loads but when it tries to bring up the file "menu" where you can chose "Open", "Save", or "Cancel", it gets stuck and tries to load it for about 10-15min and then brings up the "internet explorer can't display this webpage" page. I have also tried to download things in FireFox but no luck there either. This is the only site that gives me this problem. Any ideas??? Thanks.

What browser do you use. Also make sure your browser is accepting cookies and to have avsim.com and avsim.net as trusted sites. If you are using internet explorer for a browser it has problems with our site from time to time. Most of us library managers use Firefox. If you continue to have problems I suggest you down load it. I tried it with FireFox but I can try again. How do I set the site as trusted?

look in the tools menu for internet options.Look for cookies and you should be able to use the exceptions button and then add www.avsim.com and www.avsim.net as trusted sites. If after trying all of this and you still have problems send a email to us library managers at www.library@avsim.com and we can delete your registration and allow you to re register. :-)

Problem solved, Windows Firewall was blocking it.
