Hi thereThe FSX version has become FTX (Full Terrain Experience)It is payware, but inexpensive. it will blow your mind, honestlyIt is an amazing experience, the forum is great, great technical team and a great bunch of membersCheck out their website, you wont be disappointed, they have just completed FTX landscape with AU RED, work is underway on the Pacific NW USA scenery. It is because of FTX that I have taken to FSXjlm

Didn't it change to FTX? That's already out.

There USED to be an initial FSX version of VOZ, but that was pulled after FTX became commercial. That early version was nowhere near the maturity of the FS9 version of VOZ, so you may as well bite the bullet and get the fullblown FTX packages (well worth the money, IMHO). It's what FS11 would have looked like. :(

The guy who started VOZ went on to create FTX (www.fullterrain.com). FTX includes the ground textures, coastlines, roads, landclass etc that make up Australia and is well worth the price. As pontius says this is what FS11 would have looked like and is probably what FSX should have looked like straight out of the box. FTX also sell a number of payware airports and they also have a number of freeware airports. www.aussiex.org have a package of about 200 freeware airports that go with FTX. Plus you can get "Ants Aussie Airports" if you search the file library at avsim which provides another 30 odd airports which work with FTX.

Question:Does FTX also offer their own version of Autogen? Many of the pictures show some awesome buildings. Is this a version of say "GEX" on steroids? I have not tried their demo but will do this evening, but I wanted some clarification on the buildings shown in many of the screen shots. They did not look like "out of the box" FSX Autogen.ThanksBob G

Yes it does, FTX comes with brand new autogen textures suited for the Australia region. :)
