fs2002 not working!

I wonder if anyone has had this problem?Just upgraded to 2.7 amd, with radeon 9700 pro, new mobo etc..after installing xp, fs2002 etc. fs2002 just closes down at various different times!:-newbie

Did you buy new RAM when you upgraded? I had a similar issue at one time and had to get replacement RAM (the stuff I bought was defective). Also, are you up to date with all DirectX/Video Card drivers etc etc?

Yes I have updated all my drivers apart from the via drivers which i am going to do now, and have also bought new ram.Yet i only have a problem with fs2002.athlon 2.7asus a7v8x512 mb 2700maxtor 80gig 8mb cacheradeon 9700 proThanks in advance for your help guys!

Thankyou for taking the time to reply.I am running..athlon 2.7A7V8X mobo512 mb pc2700radoen 9700 promaxtor 80 gig 8 mb cachesidewinder forcefeedback2winxp not with sp1directx9 (previous made no difference)latest ati drivers (these did solve one unrelated issue i had)Thanks for any help!

I also had simular problems when I got my radeon9700.The following steps solved my problems:install sp1 for winxpinstall mobo drivers againinstall dx9 again install ati drivers againMaybe this helps. james
