Great Job!

I just bought the FS9 MD-11 the other day and the only word that comes to mind is....wow. I installed it, fired up FS, picked the MD-11 and loaded up a flight at LAS thinking of going to ELP. I expected it to be somewhat like the 737NG in that you can hop in, play with some buttons, and off you go. Boy was I wrong. It took me 15 minutes just to figure out how to get the "Door Open" warning off the flight displays. This aircraft is amazing, worth every penny. Just wanted to personally say good job to the entire PMDG production crew, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead with the NGX and future projects (Be sure to take your time developing them, it'll take me quite awhile to figure out all the quirks of this three engined monster).- Chris

Yes Chris! It's indeed an amazing aircraft! :( I didn't dare to make a flight with her in 3 weeks after purchasing.I knew it would be diffr. than Boeing, so I spent my time with reading the Introduction manual, and then the FMC manual. Second I opened the Tutorial, when sitting in the Flightdeck, trying out all knobs and button and lastley I configured my keys for2D pop-up panels, to use in VC so it would be more convenient when flying. (didn't use TrackIR for those first flights)Finally I decided it was time for my first flight (about 3-weeks later) Here you have my first and second flight in this master piece.http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=241819http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=242252/ Leffe :(
