Dimming the panel lights...

Which is setting in the panel.cfg will dim the panel lights? Mine are a bit too bright.is it the 'night' scalar or the 'luminous' under the heading?what's the difference between the two?

See if this helps. I know it's for ESP, but the panel lighting is the same.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526956.aspxFinding just the right values is a challenge.RJ

Have a look at this tutorial by David "Opa" Marshall - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=75602I haven't tried it but it might help.
Looking on panel studio Day colour = day colour :( Night colour = panel lightingluminous= gauge colours and obviously the three numbers that follow are colours 255,255,255=white 0,0,0 =black.On your config just put two lines before the statement and try your own ie//Day=255,255,255//Night=192,192,192//Luminous=128,255,255//.......your edit.......Day=1,2,3Night=4,5,6Luminous=7,8,9If you dont like your changes you can always go back to the original by deleting your edit , then remove the // from the originalMark
