FS9 MD11 V/S during climb?

Recommended Posts

HIOne question about V/S during T/O and climb.I have notice that V/S during TO and climb usually exceed 4000 ft/min.I tried with full cargo config and maybe 20000kg of fuel and during TO i had V/S 4000ft.Is this normal behaviour? If not, what to do to correct this.ThanksHas

Normal depends on your MTOW and temps. This morning I was testing a new approach I wrote for KLGB and did a ferry flight from KONT with one pallet and min fuel then climbed at over 8000 fpm to 8000 ft.... the rocket overshot the altitude but I wasn't trying to derate takeoff, just testing the KLGB LA River Visual approach .... anyway, 4000 fpm isn't really that much for a light jet.
