Unable to download files

Hi Gary, I have been unable to download any files from the library recently. I've tried different browsers including Firefox, DNS flushing and checking my firewall, all to no avail. I've even tried using another computer, still NO LUCK!!!!! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated:-8 Thanks

You have to be missing something.Are you sure your firewall has avsim.com as a trusted site. Remember that you could have two firewalls. The one Windows uses and the one in your anti virus program like Mcafee. Some people forget about one or the other.I use Mcafee and have a windows firewall as well so I have to make sure both of them have avsim.com as trusted sites. What messages are you getting and are you able to log on to the library Most of the library managers use Firefox and have no issues. About all I can think of is if you are unable to solve the problem send a email to www.avsim.com and request that your subscription be deleted. That way you can re register.Gary Buska Moderator

Actually I use Norton Internet Security 2008 which disables Windows firewall. I did allow both Avsim address in and also checked my DSL router's firewall. I have no issues with any other sites. I'm going to take your suggestion and have my registration deleted and then re-register. Let's see if that helps.
