Hi,It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there is a great freeware PA-28-161 Warrior made by ROTW for Fly! II. If you really are interested in this plane, you might want to check it out. Let me know, if you need help. As you can see, there is even a Belgian repaint of this plane available, made by Grant Millikan.Best regards,Henrihttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4640.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4641.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4642.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/4644.jpg

How the heck did you make Fly II look like that??! That almost looks better than FS2002. That's definitely not the Fly II I have sitting here on my HD - wow.

Word of warning re the Dakota, while it looks like a warrior, it has a 235 HP engine in it, not a 160 one. In other words, relative to the warrior

I fly a Warrior aswell quite alot actually.. Stick with the Dreamfleet Archer, trust me... The Carenado airfile isn't super. The warrior i fly is a -161 but i think DFs Archer is a 181.There isn't a huge difference, just engine power really.

There is confusion here about the Carenado planes. The screenshot is of an old Carenado Warrior II. I think it was released pre--FS2K2. I don't own it, but as far as I can tell it has no VC.There is also a Carenado Archer II. This plane has an excellent external model but is otherwise inferior to the Dreamfleet/Flight 1 Archer II.Then there is a Carenado Dakota. It is fantastic. In my opinion it has one of the best three or four flight models of any general aviation plane released for FS--quite as good as the Marchetti that everyone raves about. Its only drawback is that a couple of the guages are not state-of-the-art clear. However, as someone pointed out this is a very different plane from the Warrior. It is bigger, faster, more powerful, and has the constant speed prop.http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/buscador.php3?categoria=2

Definitely stick with the Dreamfleet Archer. The only difference between the warrior and archer in real life is about 20hp. The vital 'numbers' are just about the same - the difference really amounts to useful load that can be carried. I fly the warrior II in real life (student), and the archer in FS. My only gripe is the amount of power required to get the plane rolling in FS - but that's a gripe that applies to all planes in Flight Sim.

Hi, personally I think the Carenado air.file is quite good. The screenie shows the FS2000 Carenado Warrior II with a modified model file to get rid of the "balloon" lights in FS2002. I use it with the Dreamfleet panel and RealityXP avionics and actually think the combo is amongst the best available. As it has been pointed out, without a VC, though.http://mitglied.lycos.de/simdream/warrior.htm
