Hi there, Does anyone know how to add the default C172 radio stack gauge into 737NG from PMDG?I tried editing the panel.cfg but it did not make any difference.thanx

I also highly doubt this is possible...and why you would want to do it in the first place. Might as well not have bought it :(

Having looked at the config for the VC and Non VC if you like, it could be done , but the question remains WHY ??There has to be a valid reason why the OP would ask for such a request .Or else as you have said Might as well not have bought it :(Posky make nice 737'sMark

The font is small and it uses a big space on my screen, the smaller it is the harder to read. The default Cessna to me is a lot faster and easier to set up. THe drawback is that there is no second ADF but I only take a couple of seconds to set up an approach. I tried editing myself the panel.cfg to add, not to replace the radio stack but no good. The panel remains against Obama's policy, it is unchangeable.... :( BTW, there I noticed that in the panel.cfg there is a section left out, an IRS gauge... Probably will be used for a future update I guess.If anyone can do this I reeeeeaaaaaally appreciate.thanx

Here is the panel config for the 737-800 virtual cockpit I have only put the radio icon on the main 2d panel Have a look and see if you are happy with the position and sizes This panel config goes in your 737-800 Panel.vc folder and dont forget to back up the original before you do anything!!!!

The font is small and it uses a big space on my screen, the smaller it is the harder to read. The default Cessna to me is a lot faster and easier to set up. THe drawback is that there is no second ADF but I only take a couple of seconds to set up an approach. I tried editing myself the panel.cfg to add, not to replace the radio stack but no good. -----------thanx

-----------------Mark- just drag the edges of any popup to make it larger- as much as full screen size or even as wide as two screens!!! (popups can overlap monitors nicely- but NOT views.)And old CRTs are giveaways nowadays- just hang it on the second port of your video card. Can't get a better deal than FREE!These pics show a bit of what you can do for almost no $$$. Alex I know the theoryI run a projected Image Approx 5ftx3ft and two seperate screens myself There are a number of reasons to run multple screens ,that is not up for argument Perhaps the Ops machine or GPU card is not As I stated earlier in this thread , There has to be a reason why the Op would want such a mod on his panel I just thought it would be easier to mod the config for him than what it would to FED EX him an old CRT :( Mark

People,I just use two 22", the second one has the overhead, the two CDUs, throttle panel, the radio stack plus the Lower DU. All are displayed and there are no pop up panels witch I hate to use. All are fully displayed at all times at a glance. The radio panel from PMDG uses a big space to be readable and I think that it could be more efficient. I wanted the default panel from the Cessna to suit my needs and the only disadvantage is the lack of a second ADF but I can still select it using the PMDF radio stack. That's it.
