It may not have been your fault. I've found on of my third party aircraft that if the throttles are used separately there is no way to get them back in synch, no matter how many times or how quickly I press E 1-2.

I have found sometimes that when I press e+ 1&2 quickly it will only select engine one. Or when I select 2 it will only select 1. Is there a way around this?

Yes, use the hotkey function in FSUIPC to set up your own key combination for `All` Throttles - I use Ctrl+Shift+E.ChasW
