Find Key Commands?

Recommended Posts

Guest JohnMac

Hi I have just downloaded a Antonov An-124 (an124.zip) Author Thomas Ruth plane created 2003 approx for FS9In install.txt he lists"Usual" animations All control surfaces, Gear, Nose door loading, Pax doors...."Unusual" animations (for which you have to assign keys to) are:Wingfold Open & close all upper deck pax doorsConcorde Nose Open & close engine cowlingTailhook Open & close rear cargo rampWater Rudder Open & close upper cargo deck emergency exitsAll work lovely except what is the usual key for Nose door loading? I have gone thru all key commands assigned and unassigned and nothing seems appropriate. This is the 'peace de resistance' for this plane It kneels down at front then the whole front hinges up and the author says see keystroke under usual animation help!!Is there a hidden .Ini file listing all keystrokes assigned to the plane or is it in the .Mdl file and how do you read it.Trust somone knows the answer regards JohnMac

Hi John,Animations are part of the model and not user adjustable. The Concorde nose/visor key commands are available in the sim under settings/controls/assignments in the "general aircraft commands" section. You will have to assign them to unassigned key combination's.Hope you sort it out.Joe

Hi I understand that animations are not adjustable. What I want help is in finding what keystroke that he has allocated to "Nose door loading" and it is neither of the two optional Concorde Nose keystroke as they only work (as he said) the Engine cowlings. What I hoped was that within one of the Aircraft files was a list of keystrokes that he had assigned and what assigned to.Regards JohnMac

Hi Joe Thanks for that, It was driving me mad because the picture posted with the download showed the plane with front nose swung up. I will try in future all the "usual" keystrokes! I do not know why I did not. I just trusted someone here would know the answer. So thanks again JohnMac
