747-400 Fuel Planner

Recommended Posts

Hello, Can someone tell me on what figures the the 747-400 Load manager is based on?? The figures used seem to differ from the information available in boeing manuals. For instance, the 747-400 with CF6-80C2B1F has as noted Operating empty weight 402,300lb, whereas stated in the Load manager there is 394,088lb, and in th efuel planner 394,000lb :s .As everything begins here, what's withthe discrepancy's?Joshps. On what are the numbers based for the 747-400F, as here again I seem to note this data again?

On their website Boeing has all the performance technical data and under 747-400 and passenger version with CF6 engines it is clearly 394088. What you are reading may be for the combi version. Also as Boeing states there may be significant differences between individual airlines due to special seat arrangement or equipment installed. This is where this data is from:http://www.boeing.com/commercial/airports/acaps/7474sec2.pdf
