Hi Jim,I'm back, firts thing I tried was start ASA for SP1 mode, and start FSX from within ASA.No connection. Then I started FSX, went into flight mode, stared ASA for SP1 mode.No connection.I decided to uninstall, check my disks and reguistry for leftovers, and re-install.No go. (3rd activation btw)I must say I'm getting a bit dissapointed.I hope you have more idea's.Cheers, R.

Hi,No I start with a flight with FSX auto weather (updates)But I guess ASA will override that. Here's a new log file.My current FSX position is not taken over in ASA.I hope you can figure it outCheers, R.

Hi,This log shows you are still running B316. I thought you installed the SP1 update, a few posts back. Can you verify what Build you are using? I would like you to try the SP1 Beta. Thanks,

Hi Jim,OK, reinstalled SP1 Beta (sorry about that)tried 4 kinds of startup. ASA first, then FSXFSX first, then ASAASA simconnect SP1 first, then FSXFSX firts then ASA simconnect SP1.I tried some in-game refresh of ASA weather i all 4 start-ups, but it just won't pop into FSX.Attached the latest log fileHow now. Maybe I should revert to ASX for now (which I don't have)Cheers, Rob

Hi Rob,In the latest file, ASA was running for about 3 minutes. Did you close it down that fast? The order I would like you to try is ASA, FSX from the FSX icon, not from ASA, and then see.Don't set weather in FSX to auto. Leave it at User Defined. Thanks,

Hi Jim,now I staretd ASA, and FSX from the FSX icon.Weather set to User defined when I start the flight.attached the new log file, left FSX running for some more time.I figured, either ASA connects, or it doesn't. hence the 3 minutes.I'm off, will test later. I hope we can figure it out in the end.Cheers, R.

Hi,That SimConnect Log is still showing that Simconnect and FSX are not even communicating. Now I suggest that you uninstall SP2, SP1 and then reinstall SP1 for FSX. Something is not quite right on your system. Thanks,

HI,I noticed that too.....the problem is, I cannot deinstall SP2 after I deinstalled SP2. It's not in the software list. (I noticed that after I deinstalled SP2 the first time)Should I de-install SP2, then re-install SP1?, and then re-install SP2 (or not). I need SP2. I'm a developer (www.dc2-fs.com) and I want to develope a new plane compatible with SP2. Is ASA not compatible with FSX SP2? I would hope so.Cheers, R.

Hi,I have been away from my FSX computer for 2 weeks. But here's my answer.Installed beta 2, but still no connection to FSX.I'm sure my installation is OK. It's relatively fresh after a recent HD crash, so I expect no problems on that end. What I'm expecting from you, is actually a product that works, without having to re-install FSX. There's nothing wrong with FSX.So I hope you can put me in the right direction, give me some instructions to get ASA to work. I don't mind some tinkering, but I'm not going to re-install FSX.If I don't get the result I expect, I would like to go for the "I want my money back" option, or maybe the older ASX version, for me to try out. Maybe that works.I'm looking forward to your reply.Best, Rob
