Which Graphics Card for FSX, getting new computer

I'm stuck, i get about 50 options for which graphics card i should get..... i'm debating between the GTX280, GTX295 (i heard they weren't good for fsx, but i want to make sure)also, the 4870x2, 4870, 3870x2, 9800gtx+, AND the 9800gx2 either 1gb or SLI 2gb....... What are your thoughts on this

Your goal should be to build a balanced system. No point in getting the fastest card for FSX (an OC:ed GTX285 card) if the other components (cpu, mobo, ram) isn't fast enough to keep the graphics card busy. If you post more information regarding your intended build, maybe you'll get a good recommendation. Do you intend to OC the system and the graphics card?

I would be buying the system.Dual Core E8500 actually, @3.13ghz OC'ed to 3.734gb ddr3 memorystill deciding between 9800m gtx 512mb, 9800m gtx+ 1gb, 1gb HD4870, 9800m gt 1gb, or 9800gx2 1gb!I really think ill get either the 9800m gtx+ 1gb or the 9800gx2....nvidia is better for fsx, but i havent heard about the HD4870people said that the 9800m gtx+ is pointless with 1gb

If you intend to use the card for FSX only, I'd rule the 9800gx2 out. FSX cannot make use of multiple GPUs.1GB video ram is not pointless with FSX. This enables you to increase the bufferpools in fsx.cfg, which might help with performance in FSX.Why don't you consider a GTX 280 card?
