Internet Explorer 6, Downloads & Winzip

I'm having a slight problem with zip files I'm downloading from the library (and other websites). Once the download is complete, the zip file is opening directly in Winzip. What I want it to do is to get a prompt to save the zip file in a folder of my choice.I'm sure this will prove to be a simple configuration option in either IE6 or Winzip, but I'm damned if I can find it. :(BTW, this is my first time posting to the Avsim forums. Glad to be here. :)
