that on-line tech support's canned answers have not yet been updated to reflect the current status of FS's future development. :( :( :( B) --

To me, it looks like the person who answered doesn't even know what FSX is. :(

HUH?That says it all. They're mistaken - there is no "next version". Get used to the view of the tail of the Lear 45 in the FSX Missions - that's your FS11.Best regards,Robin.

There is a new flight simulation game in development.Check this out:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...p;#entry1547306 <--Phil Taylor even confirmed that there is a new Flight Simulation group back at Microsoft, and they are working on a project. Even before Phil Taylor wrote that blog post, everyone knew that Flight Simulator was not dead, because of Microsoft's job listing, and Paul's blog post saying that he was back at Microsoft.http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?s=&...t&p=1547912http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?s=&...t&p=1547724...and to everyone. Don't even think about FS coming out on the xbox, because its NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?s=&...t&p=1544799

Not quite sure why there even is a MGS support number, the only support that games get are for installation/activation issues :-> And its clear that his answer, that a new FSX was coming, would obviously be wrong even if the ACES team hadn't been shut down, since the next one wouldn't be called FSX :->Tim

Sounds more like a generic "insert customer name here and hit send: type of thing, I have called tech support twice with registry issues, once in teh USa which was great and once to India which was brutal to say the least with the language barrier.
