Jumpy MD11

Recommended Posts

Hello all,Have bought the MD11 for FS9. Absolutly great!!The only thing I find is that the MD11 is very quick tojump into overspeed on high altitudes (i.e. 34-35000 ft) when winds change. Especialy it doesn't like the tail winds. I know that the autopilot is not ment to be a "fire and forget" tool, but find the plane very nervous. My question: is this normal or better realistic for the MD11 or is it the simulation. Or.. do I have set it up wrong.Use FS9 with Active sky advanced, FSUIPC winds "smooth"rgds,Pieter

1) Turn off ASA DWC2) In FSUIPC wind smoothing place a 0 in the first box and a 5 in the 2nd and a 8 in the 3rd. Also make sure you have the latest version of FSUIPC.
