Can't find how to enter data into the 747-400X FMC in the FMC User Manual dated 26FEB06 page 12 - 16In order to facilitate effective learning of theFMC process, this manual divides FMCusage into nine specific flightregime/operating methods:

Hmmm.. that topic probably shouldn't be in the 747 Manual. The pilots only have access to certain things like fixes and they can create runways. I know these are covered.If you mean editing the navdata/sidstar data then the answer is no. However, Terry Yingling has an excellent tutorial on how to program sidstars at his planepath.com site (look for utilities I think).There is an article in the PMDG Ops section providing a data dictionary for the navdata files, which are just text lists.These two sources ought to get you going if you are interested in navdata.
