As we all know FSX can give top systems hernia. So my question is this; Should I go with Q9550 or new I7 920? My understanding is that I7 allows for more overall bandwidth which FSX so desperately needs, but you have to get more expensive RAM and motherboard for it. (the processors both cost about the same). Does it make sense to go with I7? Any noticeable performance increase? Also this is my first build. Is it advisable for a first timer to try their hand on over clocking?

My i7 is enroute now and I was going to go with a 9550 but price wise the 920 was worth the extra money.
