Got the painting part down....but,

ok...i can now paint ac and put them in folders to show up in fsx.But,when it comes to text on ac,left side is fine but right side text is backwards.I have tried several things to correct to no avail.Again...I am using Gimp 2.6.4 and DXTbmp...so any Topic Specific help is welcome.(i have read many tutorials,however,you might as well ask me to contimplate the universe!)thanks to any who have helped me this far!

Whenever a text appears to be visualised backwards, just mirror the text on the texture.I may look stupid on the texture, do not mind that.Leen

One point however..It depends on the aircraft you're painting.Some aircraft (the default planes tend to suffer more with this) share sections of the bmp for both sides, ie sections of the fuselage. If this is the case for the aircraft you're painting then unfortunately theres not much that can be done!

Well,both of you are right! i figured it out after talking to my brother(he does mainly WOV repaints for me and him)so,thanks!i still will need to figure out the proper steps in adding reflective textures to a black painted ac.....so i will post soon,you can bet!thanks guys!you have been very helpful!look soon for "DEATH AIRLINES"(the heavy metal enthusiast a/c!).....and later,will be,how to add images to the a/c.i'm sure i'll be asking alot of questions!hope it is not annoying to the Pros here!i've had more help here than any other site and you can bet i'll be hanging out here first!
