In Ed Olander's Carrier Ops FSX F18 mission that I downloaded from Avsim a few days ago, I cannot find the 737 that is the target that one is intended to intercept and escort to an "undisclosed" airfield.It would have been nice to include the heading from the ship, distance and altitude, which any fighter pilot would have known before launch. It is a big sky out there and I am having no luck.Anyone have a hint which way to go?

:( I would make sure you have in settings - Mission - Compass & Pointer turned on the quick key is the Letter "U" on your keyboard.Sequence ->># Mission Starts - Kick back and Unfold your Wings, Watch all Aircraft leave Deck# When told to Reduce Flaps - Press your quick key or F7 once# Clearence will be given to you and pointer should pop - up on Cat2 as defined# roll up to the Pointer and Stop on Green Arrow# A Call to do a Shift-U to lower Bar and a Shift-I to Raise the Blast Shield will be given# Blast Shield will raise and Clearence to Leave Deck will be given # Once Airborne and Off the Deck Compass should pop-up fior the 737 follow Compass you have 5-minutes# Get within around 0.7 NM of 737 stay within this range for length of flight# Get wihtin 0.1 NM to get an Escort Award for a Period of 3-minutes# When 737 is on Final Near Airport, you will be given the all Clear to Circle Airport# Circle until 7373 come to complete stop, Tower will give you clearence to land and goto re-fueling point# Again Drive ontop of Green arrow and make a complete stop, Cut Engines Initiate Brake and get refueled# Clearence will be given to HEad back to Carriers.# Land on Either Carrier to Get Mission Completion# Remember to Always have Fun !!Cheers !
