ASA 394 & FSX - cloud popping still evident

Recommended Posts

Guest ashwath

hi hifi team, i'm sorry to say tht the cloud popping issue has still not been resolved. it is of course not evident when using global mode, but global mode does not have accurate cloud depiction as stated in the new release notes. hence, i prefer to use station based mode which has very good depiction but severe cloud popping. NOTE: the same cloud popping is not evident when using FSX's default weather engine, so it must be something to do with ASA and its interpolation. please look into this issue as this is one thing that's taking the charm away. i've also reported another issue on another post that damian has seen, so please include that issue also on the new post u've created specifically for issues. it has got something to do with wrong temperatures at airports with advanced interpolation. pls follow this link http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=246405 thanks.regards,

Yes, it would be really great if this gets fixed. The popping is totally ruining the immersion of otherwise great depiction.
